The fragrances in Satya + Sage products undergo rigorous standards to exclude materials that are known by scientific research to be harmful or toxic. Our scents contain a mixture of naturally derived ingredients such as essential oils, natural isolates and extracts, as well as clean synthetic materials. We use standards set forth by the International Fragrance Association (IFRA) and Research for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) to choose materials that will not cause harm.

Keep Your Wick Properly Trimmed

STEP 1 – Allow Candle to Cool

Keeping your candle wicks properly trimmed is important for enjoyment of your candles. For best results (and for your safety), trim wicks when they are at room temperature. If your candle was used recently, let it cool before cutting the wick.

STEP 2: Cut With Small Scissors or Wick Trimmer

To trim candle wicks, carefully cut each wick with a small pair of scissors, or with a specialized wick trimmer. Wick will be hard to reach with large scissors.

STEP 3: Leave At Least 1/4″ For Lighting

Make sure to leave at least 1/4″ of your wick above the wax surface. This will make it much easier to light the next time you use your candle.
